How does it work?
First, download Jott for Outlook. You'll be walked through a short set-up process, at the end of which, you'll close Outlook and restart it. Once installed, you will see the Jott icon appear on the menu bar of Outlook and, at Jott.com, you'll notice that you have three new lists - Outlook Calendar, Outlook Task, Outlook Draft.
Now, you can call Jott to:
- Add an appointment to your Outlook calendar
Call Jott and say "Outlook Calendar."
After you confirm, simply say the name of your appointment then follow the prompts to set the date and time. Your appointment will show up in Outlook just as if you had set it on your PC. - Draft an email when on the go
Call Jott and say "Outlook Drafts."
After you confirm, simply say your message. An email will appear in your Outlook "Drafts" folder containing the text of the message you leave. - Create a task
Call Jott and say "Outlook Task."
After you confirm, simply speak your task. Your new task will be added to your Outlook Tasks.

- Add a reminder to an email.
Click on the email on which you want to set a Jott reminder, and then on the Jott icon that appears in the Outlook menu bar. You'll be prompted to select a date and time for the reminder, as well as whether you'd like to receive it as an email, text message or both. (see below)

Power Tips
Automatically set a calendar appointment for 24 hours from the time that you called by hanging up before answering the "Outlook Calendar" date and time prompts.
Add a reminder to any email message or task by selecting the Jott icon from the drop down menu that appears when you right click on that message.
You can always change the names of the default lists "Calendar", "Task", "Email Draft", added by the Outlook add-in by logging in to your Jott account.
FAQ
Q: Why does Jott tell me I have two contacts named "Calendar" or "Task" or "Email Draft" when I call?
A: If you've named another list on your Jott account "Calendar", "Task", or "Email Draft", before downloading the Outlook add-in, you'll need to rename one of the two lists so we know exactly where you'd like those messages sent. You can do this by logging on to your Jott account and clicking on the list whose name you'd like to change. From the "More Options" drop down menu select "Rename list" and type in the new name of your list.
Q: I get an error message during install (Can't open file - #2755)
A: This problem may be caused by running the installer from an encrypted location or from a network drive. To check if the installer is encrypted: Right-click on the "Jott Add-in Setup.msi", then click Properties, then click Advanced, then uncheck "Encrypt contents to secure data". If the problem persists, please contact customer support.
